Vice President of Operations

Lisa Zaripov leads the Operations team with a growth mindset that values flexibility and diversity. As the leader of people and operations at BGI, Lisa holistically builds company programs that take into consideration the needs of our clients, BGI, and the talented employees that drive us forward. By approaching business from a people centered perspective, Lisa humanizes our experiences with safety and security to provide our clients with the highest quality products and services.

Lisa’s passion for social psychology began long before her time at BGI and was inspired by her parent’s journey as political refugees from the Soviet Union. Growing up in multicultural Skokie, Illinois, Lisa developed her quest for knowledge in the social sciences studying Communication at the University of Illinois, Chicago. Later, Lisa earned her Master’s degree from DePaul University in Organizational Communication. By studying multicultural and organizational communication, Lisa gained the framework to approach diverse business needs in an effective way that aims to minimize bias and address the unique needs of everyone at BGI, from our employees to our clients and their stakeholders.

Before joining BGI, Lisa lived abroad in Barcelona, Spain where she expanded her world view and solidified her passion for business operations – focusing first on human resources and recruiting before expanding to client relations, strategy, and business continuity planning. Lisa is a Senior Certified Professional in Human Resources (SHRM-SCP), and received her PHRca certification from HRCI. In addition, Lisa leads BGI’s internal and client-facing business continuity planning efforts and is in the process of receiving her BCP certification through DRI International.
