Senior Security Systems Project Manager
Jesse Weldon has over 21 years of experience in physical security systems technology design. As a project manager for BGI, Jesse helps organizations protect life, property and reputation through the use of technology, physical design, and architecture to turn a vulnerable environment into a secure and safe workplace.
Jesse has a significant record of excellence delivering integrated security/safety systems, leading high performing teams, designing physical security and life safety, incident investigation, and root cause analysis, managing security and safety operations, and delivering large scale security projects.
Prior to joining BGI, Jesse spent 15 years in healthcare, helped launch Lenel Access Control/IP video, along with the roll out of badging to thousands of employees, medical staff, volunteers, and contractor badges with access levels from the ground up.
After healthcare, Jesse worked in the higher education sector. Managing security systems projects for an aggressive multi-campus expansion initiative, that included 2,500 occupancy dorms, mixed use retail, and research, performing arts and medical spaces.
Later, Jesse joined the largest software company in the world. Jesse worked on their new campus headquarters to design and deliver over $15 million in physical security and life safety devices on over 80 acres of space.
Jesse recently returned to Los Angeles from Seattle to enjoy the warm weather, sun, and beaches.
